The Prinz emergency ice tool by AustriAlpin is like a third hand for freeriders and ski-tourers – for easy climbing passages on steep or icy terrain. From the handle and the shaft to the pick, the ice tool is made entirely of hardened steel and weighs a mere 300 g. The geometry is very flat by design and has several fixation points so you can improvise and use the tool for belaying in an emergency.
